On Monday night we were shopping at Wal-Mart and in the produce section before we were heading home. I asked Aubrey if she wanted peaches or nectarines to eat. She said she wanted peaches and that we needed "this many" while holding up her hand with five fingers. I asked her how many that was and she counted "one, two, three, four, five". I picked up one at a time and put it in the plastic bag. I was trying to get Coleman to count, but Aubrey took over. I asked how many there were and she said "one". I picked a second one and she said we had "two". When I put the third peach in the bag she said "We need this many", while holding up two fingers. I was shocked. I asked how many were in the bag. She counted three. I picked up a fourth peach and put it in the bag. She then said "We need this many", while holding up one finger (her pinky finger). I couldn't believe it. I was shocked. I didn't know she knew how to subtract. I don't know where she got it from either. It was just amazing! We're proud of Aubrey and Coleman.

Aubrey and I were in my bedroom. She was playing and talking to her stuffed toy lizard and she named it Marley from the movie "Marley and Me". By the way, it is now one of their favorite movies. Anyway she is playing and I'm on my computer chatting with some of my friends and playing my games. And Aubrey just run out of my bedroom into the living room. Then later Aubrey and Trevor came in looking at me weird. So I asked him what's going on? Then Aubrey said "Papa, give mama a kiss and tell her SORRY". That is really sweet of her!!! My baby girl is growing. Trevor said that Aubrey told him to come to the bedroom and give Mama a kiss. We don't know where she comes up with these things.

My 2 years old son Coleman followed after me into my bathroom. Since the flood happened, their potty trainer was moved into our bathroom. Coleman immediately took his diaper off and said " PEEPEE " so I let him sit on the potty trainer. About 1-2 minutes later he peed for the first time in the potty. We are so proud of him. Hopefully soon he will be potty trained really well and we will say goodbye to diapers and hello to undies!!!
It's been a long time since we updated this blog. But I think it's time to share with what happened recently to our family.
Well, since we don't have good air conditioning in our bedroom, we use fans, so we can't hear any small noises in the house. Saturday June 27, when we woke about 7:30am, one of our bathrooms was flooded with about 3 inches of water. The kids were playing in the tub and sink and left the water on but they were SMART enough that they put towels and blankets on floor to stop some of the water from leaving the bathroom but not all of it! So they got time-out from tv and toys, and had to just stay in their bedroom. They soon feel asleep.
Trevor went to Krogger to rent a Rug Doctor to do the clean up after he mopped up most of the water in the bathroom with towels. Since he rented it, he also spent the day cleaning the carpet in the living room and dining room too because they needed it too. So we had a long day cleaning. Since our camera is broken we weren't able to get pictures of the mess/flood. You'll just have to imagine it yourselves.
